Sean Bate

Sean Bate joined Kennedy Marr in April 2015 as an Analyst/Shipbroker. He covers the global offshore support vessel industry and produces a number of publications, specialist reports and presentations for major ship owners, oil companies and investors.

Sean has a strong market intelligence background having previously worked for Westshore Shipbrokers in Norway, Braemar Seascope Offshore in Aberdeen and London and IHS-Petrodata covering the offshore subsea and field development newswires and databases.

He was also editor of the specialist monthly Subsea publication The Aquanaut. Sean is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and also provided material for the Institute’s Offshore textbook.
