In recent years Kennedy Marr has been very active in assisting offshore clients to acquire tankers for eventual use in the offshore arena, most typically for conversion to FPSO.

Our unique strength in this market is our specialist in-depth experience within one small team of both the tanker and offshore sides of the business. These two industries have very different cultures and ways of doing business which often clash both technically and commercially. Our involvement as intermediaries has resulted in the successful conclusion of a large number of sales of tankers to FPSO contractors over the past few years.

We also assist clients in sourcing dynamically-positioned shuttle tankers for use in extended well tests and early production situations.
