Leo Kennedy

Leo started his working life with Birt, Potter and Hughes Ltd, a shipbroking subsidiary of P&O, in 1956. In 1964, he was appointed as Sales and Marketing Manager of P&O's supply boat subsidiary, P&O Offshore Services which later became International Offshore Services. Leo was subsequently made Director of their Nigerian company in 1969.

In 1972, Leo joined Seaforth Maritime at its inception as Chief Marketing Executive, leaving the company in 1974 to form Kennedy Marr Limited with Nicholas Marr. In 1991, he retired from the shipping industry.
